Hrithik Roshan is stepping into the director’s chair for Krrish 4, the much-anticipated next chapter of India’s most iconic superhero franchise. Adding to the excitement, the film will be jointly produced by veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films (YRF), marking a historic collaboration between two of Bollywood’s most influential production powerhouses. This seismic shift promises to elevate Krrish 4 to unprecedented heights, blending Hrithik’s star power with his creative vision.

Hrithik Roshan: From Superhero to Director Hrithik Roshan, who has captivated audiences as the masked superhero Krrish since 2006, is taking on a dual role for Krrish 4—starring as the titular character while making his directorial debut. The Krrish franchise, which began with Koi Mil Gaya in 2003 and evolved into a superhero saga with Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013), has been a trailblazer in Indian cinema. Now, with Hrithik at the helm, Krrish 4 is poised to redefine the genre, blending cutting-edge visuals with emotional storytelling—a hallmark of the Roshan family’s cinematic legacy.

Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that  Bollywood Hungama has constantly reported the latest updates related to the project. Readers may recall that a couple of weeks ago, we reported that Krrish 4 had previously faced delays due to budget constraints, with an estimated cost of Rs 700 crores deterring studios. However, this partnership seems to have resolved those hurdles, with YRF’s financial muscle and production prowess ensuring the film’s ambitious vision comes to life. The report also noted that earlier plans involving director Siddharth Anand and producer Marflix fell through.

Speculation has swirled about the film’s scale, with earlier reports suggesting intergalactic travel and a massive VFX budget. We also reported that Hrithik and Rakesh had been locking the plot over the summer, aiming to begin shooting in 2025. Now, with Aditya Chopra’s backing, Krrish 4 could rival Hollywood superhero epics while retaining its distinctly Indian flavor.

Dhurandhar is all over the internet and it has become a big talking point thanks to its real-life references, performances, certain moments and of course the music. A day after its release on December 5, the song ‘FA9LA’, featuring Akshaye Khanna’s character Rehman Dacait, making a dramatic entry at a celebration in Balochistan, has gone viral. The song is very catchy and there’s no way an active social media user hasn’t seen its videos and Reels. In an interview with Mid-Day, choreographer Vijay Ganguly shared some interesting trivia about working on the track. Vijay Ganguly began by saying that the dance was done spontaneously by Akshaye Khanna. He said, “Originally, he was supposed to enter, walk through the dancers, and sit on the throne. Seeing the scene’s mood and the dancers’ performance, the fantastic actor that Akshaye is, he said he would dance a bit when he walks in. None of us knew what he was going to do. Akshaye entered the scene, took it from that point, and spontaneous...
