Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri to start shooting for Anurag Basu’s romantic saga in August: Report May 30, 2024 at 01:57PM

Renowned filmmaker Anurag Basu is gearing up to start shooting his next project, an original romantic film featuring Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri, from August 2024. This news comes as Basu concludes his work on another major project, paving the way for this new romantic saga.

According to PinkVilla, the upcoming romantic saga will be produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner. The source revealed, “There is a change in place. Basu is teaming up with Kartik and Triptii on an original romantic film and not Aashiqui 3. The prep work has already begun, and a team led by Bhushan Kumar is already working on curating a music album that suits the world of this romantic saga.”

Kartik Aaryan has a busy slate ahead. He will be seen in Chandu Champion on June 14, where fans can witness his transformation. Following this, he will appear in the much-anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. After completing Anurag Basu’s romantic film, Kartik will move on to Vishal Bhardwaj’s next project, Arjan Ustara.

Following the completion of the untitled romantic saga, the report says that Basu will turn his attention to his long-awaited biopic on the legendary artist Kishore Kumar. The biopic is set to begin production by the end of 2025. “Kishore Kumar Biopic is currently in the script stage and will go on floors by the end of 2025 once Basu wraps up the yet-untitled romantic saga with Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri. It’s a story which Bhushan Kumar and Anurag Basu have been wanting to passionately share to the world and are closely working to lock the script. It will move into the casting stage soon,” the source concluded.

With these exciting projects lined up, Anurag Basu continues to be a dynamic force in Bollywood, bringing diverse and compelling stories to the screen. Fans eagerly await both the romantic saga and the biopic, anticipating another set of cinematic gems from the acclaimed director.
