Bhavana also named as Karthika Menon was born on 6 June 1986. She is an Indian film actress who is working for South Indian film industry. She has also pursued acting career in Malayalam , Tamil ,Kannada and Telugu language film and established herself. In year 2002 her acting debut in Malayalam film Nammal, she also won Kerala state film awards for that movie. During her career till now she has appeared in over 80 films and won two Kerala state film awards.

Early life of Bhavana
She was born as Karthika Menon on June 1986 in Thrissur district Kerala. She was the daughter of Pushpa and assistant cinematographer G Balachandran she also has an elder brother Jaydev. She married her long time boyfriend and film producer Kannada Naveen on January 22 2018.
She has completed her schooling from Holy Family Girls High School chembukkavu Thrissur. She has a dream to become actress and at the age of 5 she used to follow actress Amala scenes from the Malayalam film ente sooryaputhrikku in front of mirror like she do.
Career of Bhavana
Karthika Menon at age of 16 she debuted in first Malayalam film Nammal. This movie of her got success and she got several offers in Malayalam film industry. She has also received Kerala state special jury award this movie. This girl was in 11th class when she got her break in the movie industry.
In 2010 her first Kannada film with Puneeth Rajkumar and Jackie was a blockbuster. She has also worked with Imran Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan in Bollywood film. She Worked in all film industry in South India, her debute movie in Tamil is chithiram pesuthadi and first movie in Telugu is ontari. During her career she has also worked with many celebrities like Ajith Kumar,Madhavan Jayam,Ravi Bharath,Jiiva and Sudeep ,And she has worked almost with all actor in Mollywood.
Personal life of Bhavana
Kidnap and sexual assault
In year 201, 17 February she was kidnaped and molested by a gang while she was returning from work. The incident took place at night when she was going from Thrissur to Kochi in her Van. Driver Martin and three van passengers they pulled him aside and forcefully went inside the vehicles they drove for two and half hour in the city during that period they sexually assaulted her and took pictures and filmed.They dropped her near Kakkanad and ran away. After this incident she filed a case with the police and FIR was registered with allegations of rape ,criminal conspiracy and relevant sections of the IT Act of India.
