Biography of Kannada Actor Upendra


Upendra Rao the Kannada film actor and director also known as Upendra is an Indian filmmaker,actor and politician known for his work in Kannada industry. He started his career from script writer and assistant director with actor and film director Kashinath with his hard work he proved that he is one of the best actor as well as director in Kannada industry who is currently one of the highest paid actor and directors in industry his first directorial venture was Tharle Nan Maga which was released in 1992.

In October 2017 he joined the political party Karnataka Pragnyavanta Janta Paksha, but this did not worked well as there were some internal differences due to which before quitting the party in March 2018 he has formed another party named Uttama Prajakeeya Party(UPP), it was named by understanding the principles of Prajakiya (Citizen-Centric administration)


Introduction 


An actor who was born in Koteshwara, Udupi district which is in Karnataka formerly known as Mysore state his background was not that much strong he belongs to a very poor family he is the second child Tu Manjunath Rao and Anusuya. During his childhood he had an eye problem which can be e seen in many films when he rolls his eyeballs.
He studied from APS College of Commerce Bangalore from where he has completed Degree on Bachelor of Commerce. Apart from studies he participate in plays and often formed troops with his friend. During final years in college With the help of distance relative he came into Association with actor and director Kashinath

Career 


In Kashinath 1989 comedy film which was directed by Anantana Avanthara was the first on screen appearance for actor Upendra,For the song "come on come on Kaamanna" he appeared as Lord kamadeva. He had a cameo appearance in movie Ajagajantara which was directed by Kashinath .Upendra has made another cameo appearance in his directorial debut movie, "Shhh!" Which was released in 1993.He played a role of man urinating on a roadside wall for his directorial Operation Antha in year 1995.

Apart from writing songs,Dialogues and Screenplay for his movie he assisted director Kashinath in various department.Even he has done co ordination with Kashinath. In 1992,he started as director with a typical Kashinath style comedy called Tharle Nan Maga, A famed comedian Jaggesh was introduced by this movie and that was a successful movie

"Prajakeeya" - which represents the workers,was the concept used to start a political Party Uttam Prajakeeya Party in year 2018,He kept himself away from contesting in any elections,there political parties were focuses on education,health and transparency in governance. There political party had candidates across all the constitution in Karnataka in the year 2019 for Lok Sabha Election.

Priyanka Trivedi who was first starred opposite Upendra in Telugu movie "Raa"and then in "H2O", Upendra fall in love with the actress and former miss Kolkata Priyanka Trivedi they married on 14th December 2003 and Upendra and his family stays in Banashankari III stage in Bangalore
